How to make Ulu Hye's

Apple and Blueberry Crumble Oats

Need a new breakfast idea? Our friend Karina from @cleaneats_breakfasttreats has the perfect crumble oats recipe. Jam packed with flavour, plant protein, creamy almond milk (using our Almond Mylk Base), crunchy granola and topped with fresh green apple and blueberries – mornings have never looked (or tasted) better!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup oats
  • 1 green apple, chopped
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 1/2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 20g vanilla protein
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1/2 tbsp Almond Nut Mylk Base
  • 250ml water

Toppings

  • Granola
  • Maple syrup
  • Cinnamon

Steps

Blend Almond Mylk Base with water for 1 minute.

Place the oats, almond mylk, maple syrup, 1/2 of the chopped apple and chia seeds into a small pot, then cook on a low heat until creamy.

Take off the heat and add the protein powder, stir to combine. Note: add extra almond mylk if it's too thick.

Gently stir through 1/2 the blueberries.

Place in a bowl to serve.

Top with the remaining apple and blueberries, crunchy granola, a drizzle of extra maple syrup and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
