Who else loves choc-cherry? We created this Black Forest Smoothie Bowl because we love breakfast and wanted to treat ourselves to something more decadent. We’re giving ourselves bonus points for turning dessert into breakfast, while still being healthy!
Smoothies and smoothie bowls are our go-to because it’s quick, easy to make and the flavour options are limitless. Adding protein is a must to ensure you’re getting good levels but, more importantly, helping stabilise those blood sugars.
We got all of our toppings from The Source Bulk Foods where you choose from 101+ toppings.

Ingredients
Smoothie base- 2 frozen bananas
- 1/2 cup sour cherries
- 1 scoop chocolate protein powder (or add 1-2 tbsp cacao
- 100ml almond milk (made using our Almond Mylk Base) *Tip: Blend your milk the night before so it thickens up overnight
- Granola
- Desiccated coconut
- Fresh cherries
- Melted dark chocolate
